I really think you first need a bunch of trucks pushing the limit before putting in a rule like this, i just dont want them to over complicate the turbo rules and its done before they ever get started. Until they have a few trucks on the ragged edge of whats deemed as acceptable then i wouldnt use this protrusion rule. For that matter you dont have any trucks around here "yet" and its been 6 yrs that would fall into that class of ragged edge trucks

i will agree that we havent yet. i just hate seeing rules get changed every year which they have for all of those 6 years

What ever rules they come up with i hope they keep them for a couple years. A 2.8 protrusion just doesnt make sense to me. A bushing can be removed or replaced with a 2.6 or 3.0 so the trucks are more org friendly for around here.

Tj, I have been friends with you for years. But if all you want to do is bad mouth the work that everyone is trying to do with this association, then Its just best that you do not make any further comments or posts about it.

if you love the buck so much, go get it tatooed on your ass.

First off I'm not badmouthing what anyone is doing...I just know that you guys don't like the buck for some reason and it sure seemed like your rules were being set up to go against what they are doing just cuz you don't like them.

Second, its funny you have such an opinion about a place you've never pulled at.

And third...I put a red door and a set of boggers on my truck this winter, you better start looking for yours now. LOL

if we did a protrusion rule I don't think there would be any trucks there to pull. Its been 2.8 round here for years, I think to get this association going the rules should be kept as they are for the first few years. This way everyone whom wants to pull can, the more trucks the better.

Jeremy hit the nail on the head. Until guys are blowing rears apart from excessive power I don't see the point in changing the turbo rule. Keep it bushed 2.8 until then. Guys aren't even making enough power to run duals in that class, so worry about the charger when power is an issue.

What are you trying to say? Are you talking about the white hood on my truck? That hood and everything to make the hood stack cost me NOTHING and laugh at it all you want. Some people have rent, electric, heating fuel, and other **** to spend there money on first. some people dont have zero payments like others. I hope your truck looks real good sitting in your yard this year.LOL

:thankyou2:

Well said. Why make it a 2.6 class when most run 2.8 already. The bucks new pro mod rules seem to be what most already have there trucks built for. 8000#, 2.8 w/ bushing, hanging weight, hood Stack, solid rear suspension.

well thats good that everybody agrees that we will be able to change the rules again when we do "start pushing the boundries" and its even cooler yet that we will have a different set of rules for leb and mason dixon. but thats what we want to be able to do change set ups for each hook awmen im done bit@hin lets go pulling

I would like to Thank everyone that attended the meeting last night. We were able to get alot of input and comments.

The diesel classes have changed and will be:

-8500# Stock diesel
-8000# 2.8 Diesel
-8200# unlimited single/3.2 Twin outlaw Diesel

The new set of rules will be posted on the site soon, and no more changes will be made.

All BS aside, that looks like a great class set up for where we are here on the east coast now. Good job guys.

Is that outlaw class allowing open driveline?

Looks good, I am glad there will be place for open driveline trucks, will try to make some hooks. hopefully enough trucks show that the class wont die.
