Missouri CMPA 3.0 pro stock class

This year CMPA is sactioning a 3.0 diesel class based off of ITPA rules, was wondering who was planning on pulling with them, or heard of a line up. I didn't know if the ITPA trucks would pull double duty since a few pulls are co-sanctioned.
 
They are going to be pulling at our pull in Mexico. we were concerned that they wouldn't have many trucks right away so we payed to have itpa co-sanction it. The way it came out I think we are going to be ITPAs first pull of the year so it could be interesting.

I don't know of any one signed up to pull with CMTPA for sure yet but the rumor is Justin Edwards (Black Crow dodge) is going to be pulling with them.
 
So with an a5k that will put me in the 2.8 or 3.0? Forgive my ignorance but that is the wheel size correct.
 
I heard Justin was pulling with them, but didn't hear of anyone else really. It's a pretty dedicated class, noy really streetable at the extreme of the class rules. I'm just curious if their will be a lot of 2.8 trucks that just meet safety rules pulling that class this year.
 
The A5K is a 2.8 inducer class but you can pull with the 3.0 guys if you meet all the safety requirements. The 3.0 trucks are gonna be pushing close to 1000hp. My friend was gonna buy the old pump off the the black crow truck but ended up not doing it. He talked to the guys at Hart's diesel and said that black crow truck should have another 200-300 more hp then it did last year. Most the pulls around here that the show me smokers are doing run the 2.4, 2.6, and 3.0 or exhibition class. A majority of the guys running with us are gonna be in the 2.6 class and the majority of the 3.0 guys are not nearly as into as the ITPA guys.

What are the rules for the 3.0 class????
 
I wouldn't say all the guys will smoke you. At few pulls there will be alot of guys running the 2.8 chargers. Now Itpa them guys don't play they will lay 50 feet on you. But the SMS events are gonna have alot of street trucks in the 3.0 class because it is also the twin turbo class. There will also be alot of guys like Jeff jahnsen, Kevin Cole, Strothkamp that are running 2.8 chargers that will be in the 3.0 class if they pull with us.
 
Agreed, but i heard kevin cole was going to move up, but don't really know for sure. Jahnsen, and strothcamp, we'll only see in the coming months, but i bet jahnsen will probably move to a 3.0 charger, but then and again like you say the itpa guys don't playaround, so he may stay 2.8 to pull dhra 2.8 class. I'll be interesting
 
Nope not yet next weekend. Kevin Cole did move up but he didn't go near over board that everybody thought he was. Thos guys are the guys that kinda paved the way for missouri truck pulling and all have really nice competetive trucks.
 
We will see. Someone knowss what they are going to do and I highly doubt they are going to back down from putting on a good show so we will see....

Oh so I guess they will just pull the bushing. Dale do you think many of them will come out to the SMS events?
 
3.0 Bushing class? Many 2.8 classes have a bushing just woundering why the 3.0 bushing rule?
