Missouri CMPA 3.0 pro stock class

Theres some guys running bigger chargers then 3.0 and just a simple fix on somewhere to put them.

Oh so I guess they will just pull the bushing. Dale do you think many of them will come out to the SMS events?

Most will come aslong as there isn't a big money purse somwher else on the same night.

Dale

I wouldn't say all the guys will smoke you. At few pulls there will be alot of guys running the 2.8 chargers. Now Itpa them guys don't play they will lay 50 feet on you. But the SMS events are gonna have alot of street trucks in the 3.0 class because it is also the twin turbo class. There will also be alot of guys like Jeff jahnsen, Kevin Cole, Strothkamp that are running 2.8 chargers that will be in the 3.0 class if they pull with us.

Will they allow twins in the 3" class? According to rule 895 it says limited to single turbo. Hopefully they will makes for a much more streetable truck.

In the Show Me Smokers 3.0 class I do think they allowed twins. But the mazimum size of the biggest charger could be no greater than 3.0. I am not for sure but yeah I think you can run twins in the 3.0 class when you pull with the SMS.

Does it say in the rules that twins are allowed in the 3" class? If it does I missed it.

For certain I don't know, I know there was a post on the forums awhile back about the twins guys and they had decided to let them run in the 3.0/ Exhibition class.

So do you know who might know? Is the 3.0 class a exhibition or a real class?

send a PM to SmokinCummins

he shold be able to let you know what is going on with the show-me smokers rules

You guys really need to get on Show-mesmokers.com and ask questions on there. I know some of the information but not all. The 3.0 class is a real class it's just that alot of the fair boards and event cordinators that we are putting pulls on did not want to pay for us to bring in the 3.0 class. But Instead of just not running the 3.0 class we decided to run a exhibition class at the pulls that don't have the sanctioned 3.0 trucks. I think in the just of it we didn't want to leave anybody out that came to a pull and since the new rules and everything is kinda new this year we didn't exactly know how many 3.0 trucks were gonna be running with the SMS. We are really trying to make everybody happy but please go to www.show-mesmokers.com and voice your oponion so that the Matt and Shaun and some of the other guys will give you an exact answer.

I still think some where their needs to be a 3.0 or 3.2 twins class. Twins are becoming more common, and not just the big nasty 66mm over a big brother, or 66mm over a big s400, but towing twins with a 2.8-3.0 bottom charger. 3.0 twins won't open up like a 3.0 single, and won't have the peak horsepower, but will always stay lit longer, and light easier. So why not run them with their own kind. Apples for apples.

I think it is going to depend on how many trucks show for the 3.0 class. If there arent many they are going to run them all together im pretty sure. Otherwise i think they may basically run an open class with no payout.

Alot of 3.0 trucks showed up today and put a stomping on all of us. Even Jahnsen was 20ft behind Edwards in the Black Crow truck. Hart's Diesel brought 3 of thier 3.0 trucks, None of them run near as good as Justin's though. I would see why someone definatly wouldn't be incouraged to get out there and pull with classes like that. They were making everyone run a firesuit, helment, and had more rules then I could shake a stick at. Then kind of funny how rules can be broken for certain people.

The black crow truck, the blue one that took 2nd, and the black and gray 3rd gen disposable income. All three of those trucks were built by Harts Diesel.

Disosable Income was the only truck that Harts built the motor for. My truck and Justin's have Harts pump, lines, and injectors.

I didn't necassalary mean built but running Hart's stuff. Disposable income last year had a common rail and this year he comes out packing a Hart's diesel motor. Eric would of done a little bit better if he wasn't bouncing half way down the track. Jeff City needs to do a little bit something different with the classes. There needs to be a class geared towards slightly modified trucks. I am putting down 600hp and had 50ft put on me by first place. There were a few guys there earlier in the day we were pulling with that didn't want to even pull anymore when these trucks started showing up. People like Tony Imhoff, Justin Edwards, Jahnsen, and them guys put on a good show for the crowd. Just might want to think about another class for next year. Alot of people don't want to be pulling in the mod class. It's kinda like going up and jumping into a class in Indiana with brad Ingram. My buddy said something like we can't compete with these guys they all are running 3.0 chargers and another guy said well they sell them everyday.

It's the way the sport is turning, seems no one is running a 2.8 class anymore, a lot of 3.0 classes. The rules are nicer than more 2.8 rules were with regards to rear suspension, and driveline. All the "big trucks" have more than myself, that's why I have stopped adding to the CR for now. But you never know what may happen, once the year gets rolling. And I'm sure Justin Edwards will have it put on him somewhere this year. Their is always someone with more than the next guy. I've seen him get beat on a good night, harts aren't untouchable, heck Ingram doesn't win them all either.

Well Smokin S should have been disqualified but they get to do what they want since his daddy is part of the organization. Something fell off of his truck during the run which is a dq. But they said they would let it go. HAHA IMAGINE THAT! Nothing like cheating at the first pull. Jeff Jahnsens truck pulled well. Wheel hopped the first 100 ft. Id say black crow is only 10ft bettter than that truck. Given Jahnsen isnt running water injection or air/water intercoolers and all that stuff. Jahnsen adds water injection to his truck. Him and the black crow will be real close.

Parts breakage is not a dq. I just follow the rules and parts breakage is not considered a dq. Where was YOUR BIG BAD TRUCK you always talk about?

I dont ever recall saying my truck was big and bad. I just remember saying your out of your league. Your the one that says its all big and bad. Im running the same pump as the black crow hahahahahaha! Guess you found out you pump is nothing like that. Just another 13mm like the rest of us can buy from Harts. You had a pretty good run for 9th place though haha!
