Missouri CMPA 3.0 pro stock class

This year it's probably to late? You guys all ready have your things going and the Smokers have thiers. It would be nice next year though if they could get together and join together. Bring more trucks into your guys pulls. Also be a way for all the 3.0 trucks to run together and you guys could bring some more 3.0 trucks to pulls. I think this year the 3.0 class kinda got left out as a fear no 3.0 trucks would show up.

safety is very important, 2.6, 2.8, 3.0 does not madder. they all can run away or break drive lines. I have seen alot more breakage on the smaller classes than the big drivetrain stuff.

Never said safety wasn't important. But I don't think all trucks need all the same requirements as other. Don't think everyone needs all the safety requirements as someone like Curt Haisley or Big Bad Dodge. Driveshaft loops are a must though seen to many of those break. Just been slacking on getting mine done.

I dont believe an air shut off is necessary on the 2.6 truck. These are suppose to be STREET trucks. What street truck runs an air shut off? No point if you ask me

I agree with that to a point. Today there is a very fine line between a dedicated puller and a street truck in the 2.6 class. You have some serious pullers in that class now with the popularity of the deisel pickup. 10 years ago, not so much...My truck will have one eventually, regardless of the class I'm in.

An air shut-off serves more than one purpose. The obviuos one, in event of a runaway, the engine can be safely shut-down. Secondly if a hitch or chain would break causing the truck to come unhooked from the sled the truck will instantly shutdown.
For those that were at the TS pull in Bowling Green, you know how close the flag man was to being run over when a hitch broke.

It don't matter if it is a stock charger or a 3.0 or twins you can blow a charger just same I had one blow a shaft it sucked so much oil that the rpm buryed the tack.so IMO they all need it.from totally stock tohighly mod.:soap:
