Missouri CMPA 3.0 pro stock class

yeah pulling strats at noon I think, Show-me smokers are putting it on. A little far drive for me though.

I know you can't load it completly, plus Keith's numbers are consistantly off on the upper end hp trucks, that's why i didn't post numbers, just saying i'd seen it on a dyno, and hp isn't everything when pulling. Chassis is a lot to do with it also.

I know Jahnsen's truck can pull awesome. (The looks of that truck is also cool, best looking truck at jeff city IMO). I don't care if it put down 500hp, just make all the guys that are putting down 800hp feel like crap when jahnsen puts 10ft on them. I'd say my truck is close to 600 and Jahnesn put 30ft on me. I'm not running close to in his class though. I haven't seen many pulling trucks put down good numbers on a dyno. My buddies vp truck is a about 550hp and was putting 30ft on 700hp trucks at bloomsdale. So Smoking S have you been back on here? Just wondering what you think of the MMTTPA picking up some more classes and adopting some different rules for the little guys. 3 loops fer shaft seems to be a bit much IMO.

I saw Jahnsens truck dyno at the beginning of the year last year, it was at MCS Midwest Performance Diesel. Not saying it is exactly the same, but you say it is unchanged since last year, and what I saw was what he started last year with. It was right before the new color scheme.

About the only thing the same on the truck when you saw it is the head and block. While it was being painted Eric tore the whole thing down and added 13mm scheid pump, scheid turbo, and scheid injectors.

I believe Jeffs truck (when it was green) has the highest dyno numbers Keiths dyno has seen. As far as i know. But that thing isnt even worth dynoing on. You can put a truck like Ingrams on the and it would make like 500. That dyno has a mind of its own.

A chassy dyno won't work like engene dyno will a pulling motor is a lot different than a drag motor We tried to duplacate a pull on it before just won't do it.

Dale

I agree with Dale just can't dyno a pulling motor. Shaun also said the same thing. That's exactly why Shaun said he would never dyno his truck. Just full of disappointments.

exactly it just wouldn't load a 3.0 charger, among other things. Jeffs truck is string, has been a product of the system for years. I thought out-of-here had the highest that dyno has seen, but i don't know for sure. Tomeygun had poor dissapointing results when I saw him there also. When Jeff's truck dyno'd eric said it was just a 215 pump, so it's probably a lot stronger now. The point of a 600hp truck putting 30ft on an 800hp truck is true, you need hp, but set up makes a big difference also. On a side note is show-me going to have diesels again this year? If so what classes?

What Show- Me the gassers I don't think there around any more that what I was told by a xpuller that pulled with them.

Dale

Ya it would be nice to add a couple of other diesel classes but money dosent allow MMTTPA to do so. If you someone would and could come up with the money and the trucks i'm sure they would be glad to.

That is all I ever hear is money money give more O I thout you was talking about my wife sorry.

Dale

Why not co saction MMTTPA with the Show-Me Smokers at pulls like Jeff City and such. I think you could get a bigger showing of trucks if everyone knew they didn't have to pull aganist 3.0 trucks. Just look at the people that were hooking durring the day that decided not to. A nice centarilized place like Jeff City to start off pulling at the beginning of the year with test and tune all day I think would bring alot of guys out to pull. Just alot of guys don't want to hook with the MMTTPA.

Safety equipment needs to be on every truck too, no matter if your driving it everyday. Air shut off, drive shaft loops, etc. Insurance reasons and for everyone's personal safety. Alot of people look at me like i'm crazy when i ask where the safety equipment is.

Insurance is a major part of eny kind of motor sport now I f the trucks don't meet the safty tec alwellthey don't pull There are a lot of people out there now that or reddy to sue forevery little thing always got to cover you a-s.

Dale

You need air shut off on a 2.6 truck? I do plan on doing driveshaft loops. What does your rules state you need 3 loops on every shaft? Or if the shaft can be seen standing away from the truck it needs to be covered?

Visible u joints shields should be on any truck that is over stock fueling.

People put all sorts of money into their truck and then when a few hundred dollars worth of safety equipment is brought up, they act like they can't afford it.

Every shaft needs 3 loops on it. Two piece needs six. That's probably over kill, i had to redo mine this year to make them fit the rules. You can buy a cheap blast gate for a air shut off. If you don't want to spend the money for a quality made shut off.

I agree the safety comes along with it. Smokin i believe MMTTPA would see around 10-15 more diesel trucks on average per week if there were a 2.6 class or even 2.8. A class that doesnt run water injection etc. There are ALOT of 2.6 trucks out there. Most wont waste the time and money pulling against trucks like black crows. I am one of them. I dont drive my truck on the road but still not chancing breakage when i know im not coming within 50ft of 1st place.

But big organazations like DHRA and others don't run as strick rules as that why not adopt thier rules? Or is it the Insurance you guys have makes you put 3 on each shaft? I agree safety comes first but don't go overboard. Not saying you guys are going overboard and if it wasn't for sue happy people nowadays you wouldn't have too. I don't think a 2.6 truck should need the same rules and saftey requirements as The Black Crow truck has. I would have to say Anthony is right adopt a smaller class and you will get more poeple. The 3.0 trucks put on a good show but there's also alot of people that like watching 2.6 trucks. So what about co satchining it with the Show-Me Smokers then you don't have to worry about insurance they cover their own trucks? Seems like your avoiding the question?? You also won't have to listen to people complain about teching either as it's an un biased person doing the teching that doesn't pull?
