But it keeps the factory grid heater active and at full power. That's possibly the smallest amount of parts I've every seen for $195. Holy ****.
So would a tack weld. LMAOBut it keeps the factory grid heater active and at full power.
Theres a hog shed with a line of different screws on it that says you have done farmer type shiz.So would a tack weld. LMAO
Kiddin'...I'd never do that. I'm not a farmer. LMFAO
Love ya, G.
As much an issue 07.5+Isn't the bolt issue more of a issue in the 13-18 year range.
If you're pulling the head, I'd have it fireringed. Orings suck.I’m have a sxe369, steed, 66% injectors and a 12mm pump. Yanking the head and doing a gasket and studs. And the “small” build on the 68 with a converter. Or it’s in the mail/waiting for parts.
Is there honestly any point In getting a better head or cam? It’s totally needed on a VE truck in my opinion, but not sure on these things.
Valve springs and push rods at a minimum if the head is a no? O-rings? I highly doubt I’ll take it much further than that. Can’t having my this thing any faster than my VE’s…. lol
Also side question, anyone ever put one of these 6 speeds behind a 12v!? I bet it would be rowdy as **** with gears and twork!
Some people just want something that works without having to tinker with stuff. Why didn't you ingenuitize you a new turbo if it's cooler than making others rich?we aint all made of money...besides..ingenuity is cooler than making thers rich..
Just curious, any particular reason you didn't jump to a S400 frame with that fuel?I’m have a sxe369, steed, 66% injectors and a 12mm pump. Yanking the head and doing a gasket and studs. And the “small” build on the 68 with a converter. Or it’s in the mail/waiting for parts.

It sounds like you've got quite the project with your '09 Cummins ISB 6.7! Since you're transitioning from a 12v setup, here are a few suggestions:Picked up an 09, 6.7.
I have no idea what I’m doing here, been a 12v guy.
I read some old threads with dated info, just wanna see if there’s much new now.
Truck currently has a little box on the dash that says HS min max, it has no DPF system and all the EGR system is missing under the hood. The check engine light isn’t on but the light on the PRNDL dings and says service dog every so often. Truck runs good, not in limp mode.
Trans has a deep PPE pan on it, fluid smells new. Shifts great. Lazier at lower throttle, kinda a stall shift at wot but I assume the tuning to save the clutches. Its firm just feels “delayed” like it pulls some fuel at the shift.
First big thing I’d like to fix, the HS thing does not power off, I have to flip a switch. Anyway to make it cycle with the ignition?
What do I need to do to make that light go away.
What’s realistic for a stock bottom end on one of these that’s “reliable” for a daily driver.
Lift pump and actual tuning I assume is my first step?
Lots of guys were doing the 467 and 464’s back in old threads, that still the better choices?
