New TURBO what do you think?

ITS was a great turbo until they screwed up and went under. precision really isnt a great product. while their newest stuff is getting better, their older stuff is borderline crap.
i am fairly confident your turbo will spool like lightning, and sound great, but a wastegate is definately necessary.

I have been reading a lot of different forums and getting no where. I knew this forum had some gurus on turbos so it would be a good place to ask. You're mother should have told you ,If you don't have anything nice to say . SHUT THE HELL UP

You asked for help...we gave it....you want more info that doesn't matter one bit, so figure it out on your own.

You tell me WHY you NEED to know what cm^2 the housing is, and I'll figure it out for you.

Bring it I have no vested interest in this website,just looking for info. But I can be just as big an ass as the rest I didnt ask to be treated like this but i will return in like attitude!
 
I told you that I wanted to know how to compare the cm2 to ar so while reading different threads of what guys have on there trucks i could compare my turbo to theres as far as handling you give me a break its the internet. I have nothing to prove to any of you just looking for info not attitude

Most people anymore buy their chargers with REAL information...like A/R size, NOT cm^2....enjoy;)

buddy did you even try to search for a/r vs cm on google first.....

if you turn your smoke switch on, it will spool faster


now since you have no vested interest in this site................GTFO
 
If we were talking about twins for alky or gas and drag racing id be fine . but the little turbos on these trucks and the limited rpm range , all ive run are holsets I dont have anything else to compare to thats why i ask.

If you don't know the difference between A/R and cm^2, you don't have much to offer....and since you're unable to compare the two or figure out why you CAN't compare the two, I think you have less to offer.


I'm not giving you permission to ask anything...just a warning to climb down off your high horse before you get bucked off.

I've been around a day or two...I've tried more turbo's than you've probably seen....but I'm still a relative nobody in the grand scheme of things. You'd be wise to figure that out about yourself too;)

Maybe you should read my posts i said i had been searching all over the internet and kept coming up with the same list you gave me but didnt think it could be right . thats why i was asking for a way to figure it myself. do you know how to compare ar to cm ??

it has been said in here as well as before thats its like comparing apples to your flame pants.....


one is a ratio, one is a volume

now if it was me and i wanted to know exactly.........i would seal the exhaust housing up and fill it with water to measure the volume....and you better seal it off to the correct edges inside the housing

so mr. science guy, let us know what it comes out to

even if it does come out to something similar, i doubt they act anything like a similar sized cm
