I know the gt88s on my 582 with an ar96 were just about perfect but I could have run 1.08 with less back pressure just never tried it

now if it was me and i wanted to know exactly.........i would seal the exhaust housing up and fill it with water to measure the volume....and you better seal it off to the correct edges inside the housing

so mr. science guy, let us know what it comes out to

even if it does come out to something similar, i doubt they act anything like a similar sized cm

So what do you do do you know every available ratio for every available size turbo so you can compare or do you do as i did and ask for more info to try and make your own decision

So how do you know it would have given you less back pressure at the same performance?

Talk ab out comparing apples to oranges 582 ci to 360 gas to diesel 8500rpm to 3200 rpm 8000lb to 3000lb t-6 to t-3 This is why im asking questions im limited in experiance with diesels

i compile the amount of information available to me from the smarter folks on here, because people like chris have bolted on just about every size combo in the books to trucks and have real world experience with each...unlike me or you who may have only tried a few spinny things.......so i then use my common sense and make the best educated guess for what is best for me

Because you keep asking and asking and asking about cm^2....and frankly, I don't care about that.

How many CFM are your gassers moving out the exhaust at that RPM? How about a diesel?

I have no idea. I was only trying to compare what is on my truck now a 12cm housing and this turbos .82. If it was way to small i was considering putting it on my 94 vette .
