I agree RKL on my truck was basically the same as the smarty, but rkl had better street manners so thats what I stuck with for awhile. I have since switched to the BD and am running SenL and it flat out rocks...even 2.4d felt alot stronger then TNT/RKL. Worth a shot IMO. And its also pulls hard to 3800...$.02

hey sledpuller, would you pm me your mods. just curious on what you have done. I also have the senL tune but I am short on mods to make it work good on my truck. Rail pressure is lowered about 2k and it has a different timing map also. I would think with huge injectors this tune would run great.
 
I have to agree that those turbos are way to big, you could make the 1k mark on your top turbo alone, drivablity would suffer but it is a fact.

correct me if I am wrong, and this may have nothing to do with your lack of power..but your top pump should be the big pump and the bottom the small one.
 
Pretty sure that Tim Barbers truck has a 71mm compressor wheel, and he did over 1000 on fuel only.

why would the size of the cp3 pump matter? both pumps are feeding the rail, which is feeding the injectors...

they have 3 of the larry programs on there...now, i tried the senl on my auto stacked with mp-8 and stage I cp3 and i dont know that i had enough pressure from the tank...it would break up on me. no air dog yet....i have the 2.4d crazy larry on now and it runs great.

I actually got higher rp at idle over 2.4d. If you have the fuel it's awesome, or as ktmracer said it breaks up real bad under certain load and cant even hardly be DD without adequate fuel. I perfer 2.4d for DD myself.
 
It ran pretty good on mine but I could tell I did not have enough fuel to run it right so I stick with the 2.4.d

didn't realize this was a bully dog thread. While where on the subject are they easier to download than the smarty. I'm to stupid to figure out the smarty
 
my bad, I thought it had more to do with Rob trying to hit 1K on fuel. lmao. Swole, how's the engine running with the new tune?
