Thanks for the pics...now I know what I'm doing with mine for sure!

Stripped drivers side to bare metal then primed. Have some smoothing to do before the black epoxy coat....

I laugh at this hitch everytime :hehe::hehe:

Ok so what'd you get done?:poke::poke:

Did you sand it all the way down before you shot that primer? or just sand off the clear coat?

If you look back in the pics posted you can see I stripped off everything to bare steel....

I use some Norton Rapid Strip Discs (blue)- and a milwalkie grinder... You can get the Rapid Strip Discs at Hope Depot.....

When done use blow gun to blow off everything- twice- then use acetone soaked rag to wipe down- then use air gun again- start shooting primer. I use a SharpeSGF 98 HVLP gun with a 1.5mm tip. Triple filtered air supply.:rockwoot:

Looking good, except the bedliner spray is too heavy. LOL
:hehe::hehe:I figured there was some wiggle room on the diet plan to add some "clean up in a can" (bedliner spray) :hehe::hehe:

It does clean up the interior a bunch.:rockwoot:
