I laugh at this hitch everytime :hehe::hehe:

IMG_0661-1.jpg

Ok so what'd you get done?:poke::poke:

and the hitch is notched for the rollpan, some hidden wieght reduction right there!

I ordered my rollpan for the 4x4 over the weekend, and i sanded down the intercooler piping and shot it with a coat of primer today, getting another coat tomorrow, and then some flat black paint, and maybe a clear. Then the new charger should be here.

Don't tell me that hitch is staying. :poke:

Looking good. :Cheer:
:hehe: We'll see after the 4 link gets installed, the hitch may prevent ride height problems:hehe:

I made up a water pump block off plate and lift pump block off plate...

Gotcha...you and your exotic stuff

Chris
Hardly exotic- just taking a different path:hehe:

The above pump and a Tik-Tok controller....

TIK-TOK is an electronically controlled switch, which will eliminate the manual operation or thermostatically controlled operation of turning on and off, of two separate electric items.

It was specifically designed for aftermarket cooling systems, wherein the electric driven water pumps and electric fans are presently controlled either by a thermostatic switch or manual switches.

TIK-TOK is designed with a built-in timer so as to sequence the on and off cycles of each item. As an example; When the switch is turned on, the pump runs for XX seconds, then it shuts off and the fan starts, it runs for XXX seconds, then it shuts off, the pump starts again, and so on and so on.

Research has shown that incredible temperature control can be had by sequencing the transfer of coolant from engine to radiator. Basically, by taking the hot fluids in the engine and transferring them to a radiator, then leaving them sit under a forced air situation, the radiator performs much more efficiently. The radiator has now become a pure heat exchanger, rather than just a temperature equalizer.

TIK-TOK has two distinct advantages, the most important being control of your engine temperature. It allows your cooling system to work at it's utmost efficiency with your radiator doing what it was intended to do, transfer heat. Secondly, and in most cases almost as important, it reduces the amount of electrical drain from your battery. Now instead of two ten amp motors running at the same time, it's cut in half and if your one of the many who still run without an alternator, you need all the help you can get!

The switch will function in one of three ways. The center position is OFF. One position will start and run the water pump only, in a continuous mode, and the third position will sequence the pump, then fan, then pump, then fan, etc. The sequence will always begin with the pump first and sequence until manually shut off.

TIK-TOK is approximately 2" x 3" x 1" high, with Velcro as a means of mounting, and has five wire hook-up. Two wires will attach to the three position switch supplied. One wire to the water pump, one to the fan and one to the negative post on the battery.

Hmm...maybe I should call Scott for one too.

My cage should be done later this week, and then we cut the truck in half:D

That's the last one I have:D I suck at taking pictures when I do something. I'll try and get some more when I see it again!

When is that going to be? Enough of the little stuff already. :poke:

:hehe:
What all the little things make up the big picture...:rockwoot:

Got to say THANK YOU to my buddy Jeff (Snedge) of MUMAU DIESEL.

A while back I was looking for a International casted Cummins block, Snedge pulled through and delivered. Now he comes through again with a International casted 12V head.:rockwoot: Which is now in the machine shop getting cleaned, checked, shaved and o-ringed.

Mumau Diesel's name will be displayed on this truck. Time and time again we put a call out to Snedge and MUMAU DELIVERS with quality service and pricing that can't be beat!

For all your Cummins and CAT parts needs- I highly recommend everybody give Snedge a shout and see for yourself- you will be impressed with your transaction.

The IH castings are the foundation for the real bullet to be installed under this hood after the present one has met its demise- or the truck gets sorted out at the track.:evil

Snedge, posting those pics are part of the deal. I posted some ugly pics of the multi colored truck and slowly but surely that is changing for the better. I will post up pics when I recieve it too, cause I know it will look much different.:rockwoot: I think it's time to put the block up on a stand and start making strides there too.:rockwoot:
