Pulling tire?

Don't some of your pulling classes say a 35" is the largest tire.

HERE IN OHIO WE DON'T LIMIT THE TIRE SIZE BUT I THINK THE 2.5 CLASS IN KY HAS A 35" LIMIT. I DIDN'T SEE ANY DIESELS RUNNING 36" TIRES UNTIL MILBY TRIED MINE OUT AND STARTED TURNING HEADS.

like that time you tried too pull in the gas class. :)

my teamate used the claws 33xi think they were 13.50 and they did ok, nothing special, i think a lot of wheel speed would help them go better

I used the mickey thompson ATZs and had no luck at all. I used the claws(35s) this year and they seemed to hook really well.

How would these Firestone Destinations fair... 305/70/16 there 10 ply

Looks like a BFG Mud terrain to me. Those tires move bunches of dirt but don't seem to grip much to me.

Did you run those on the front as well? How was the clearance?

Im considering them over the claws now.

Yes I run them all the way around but only when I pull. I run my pro comps on the road. I can't turn them too much left to right and thats with a 2" level kit and 18 x 12 wheels. On that tight track with a heavy sled I took it 26mph, On a loose track with a light sled I took it 30mph. I think they're great for loose tracks helps keep you on top but don't know about tacky tracks yet.
