Pulling tire?

I should have been more specific. I never made a hook with them. They didnt even want to clean themselves in the snow. They did piss pore on mud for me also. Im never going to have another set. The MT ATZ all season's I have now make cirlces around them in the same areas.$.02

In mud they aren't that great. Don't know how many of the pulls are on mud though.

Pulling tires

My pick after much looking and study is thr General GrabberAT2 33X12.50X16 load range C 6 ply, your air pressure changes will work great on the traction.

Thank you Tori you beat me to putting the same link on here. Maybe if I get time or figure it out in the next day or so I'll put that video up and the one of Bloomsdale.

i am looking at one of these two

Ron I think you need to try some STS. I ran The Summit Mud Dawgs the beginning of the year and Dane was beating me by 10-15ft. Then I switched to the STS and it was then a toss up between me and Dane. But I don't know them tires you have seem to do pretty well also so who knows? Seems like everyone is starting to run STS though. On tracks like Freeburg and Waterloo they did really good but tracks such as bloomsdale they are horrible.

Also those two tires look extremly different. One looks like a pavement pounder and the other looks like an all out mud tire. Are you gonna be pulling a 2wd duramax Malibu?? If so Then yeah mud tires are probably your best bet. Maybe even sum boggers???

TSL-SX's

Has anyone tried to pull with a set of Super Swampers TSL-SX ?? Would they work or dig in to much??

I ask because I took mine off right before the Houston pull thinking they would dig in and hop bad based off some non-pulling experiences with them.

Are the boggers VERY worn or are they new? Just wondering, like I said above I was thinking a set of Super Swampers TSL-SX's would bite to much and possible start to hop. Seems like this would be even worse with the boggers? :what:

I saw a guy with tsl-sx's and he just spun on a very lose track. We've got a set our selves we haven't tried yet.

the ones i would be getting would probly be new...

i know interco make a bogger with a 10ply on the tread and 6 ply sidewall

all been thing about 375 wide tires the mickey thompson are selling.

if i go duals i spend ~700 in tires large single will run basicly the same.

when suspension is not causing the wheel hop i think the stiff or lack of stf sidewall is causeing the tire to unload and hop...

Ron i agree with you 100% i pick up the same Mph gains you saw when i ran the ATZ 33/15.50s the would rub on my truck really bad even with a 2in leveing kit. I really dont know what im going to run next year. Also i those tires broke my truck!

Bad-Duvall, If those tires broke your truck then keep running them!!! I mean if they hook that good...fix the weak spots and go with it!

would it be better to run big singles or run duals on back?? singles get prety pricey

say 285 @ ~180-200 is 800 for the back allone let aloong spacers and studs so they dotn break

big single in the back is 300-400 each...

The Tranny would get expensive replacing every other weekend. Try them STS out they might work well for you guys.
