Pulling tire?

I looked at them and i dont really think they would be a good pulling tire!

Didn't jeff Strothcamp run those in a 35X14.50-16 2 years ago a few places? Dale did Shane try those on barney as well?

what about the kuhmo road venture mud terrain?? they seem more agressive then an all terrain but not as agressive as say the cooper stt. i was thinking mabye a set of the sts at's but ive heard they dont wear worth a crap on the road

STS are terrible on the road, and once they wear down the edges they aren't worth a hoot once they have lost the edges.

thats where i am at a loss and dont know what to do as far as a tire goes cause i drive my truck almost daily and my tires are now bald and i will be getting a set soon i just need to pick a set that will last at least 15000 miles on the road but will do good sled pulling. last year i was running the nitto terra grapplers and i felt i didnt have the traction i needed sled pulling and i can say that anytime i was in wet grass let alone mud i had to use 4 wheel drive and that got annoying

Ryan you have seen my truck, it runs with the guy's that STS's. With spring river I pull with a guy who runs the STS's and has a good running truck. I run the BFG A/T. I don't think you were there, but if you look at the pulls it was back and forth between us. I am trying to think but I think it was a wash on who one more. I think I one upped him on the wins this year from memory.

pit bull growlers are the ones i was referring to Jeff running, I just thought that is what he had on his truck at the St. Peters picnic pull 2 years ago

Tell you the truth my STS's haven't been to bad on the street. About like the average mud tire. They aren't worth a crap in the snow either. I'm all over the place, there is defiantly a better all around pulling tire/street tire. All out puller though my vote still goes to the STS.

I run the M/T ATZ's aswell. I absolutly love them too. They hook extremely well on the tracks we have around here, and have great tread wear. I have about 18-20K on my 285/70-17's and they still have about half the tread left on them. I haven't rotated them either. Kinda hard to on a dually. Now my rear tires do have more wear on the centers but thats mainly where I am trying to fit a 10.5 tire on a 6" stock wheel. The tread tends to bow up.

Ive got a set of BFG all terrains I would trade for a set of STS. They are about 85%-90% tread. 33x12.5-16.5. I would trade rims to if they were decent. Heres what they look like. They are like brand new as well.
