Redstroke goes BIG....again

it was frrom a faulty pyro prob. the end of it came off ( wasn't melted) and went threw the charger . maybe we can get autometer to warrenty it LOL
 
In the Jet Engine world we call that F.O.D. foreign object damage, EGT's won't chip wheels.

He's running enough fuel his EGT's shouldn't be that high, on my truck if I run 370's with N2O I'll see 1900+ but with dragon flows they drop 100 or better.

Well I guess autometer is using inconel stainless steel to shield the thermocouple. This is what came apart. We will see if they warranty pryros?

Tight converters save lives..... and parts! Flipping the lockup switch gets old.

Yeah mines too loose now, gotta switch it our for something tighter.Was hard to pick with a complete new motor. That probe mess up your S480 too?

So, watching the video of your burnout on the way home, im wondering how the heck you tow with that? sounds like 93% stall with a S4T as a single!! must swap in that 57/12 for the tow... :D
 
Towed all the way to Bowling Green unhooked the trailer behind TS's shop went around front and got in the dyno line. The hood was up for pictures and to check the oil briefly.
 
impressive...does he burn alot of water on the tow? prob. not very speedy....was he towing another "tow" truck?
 
The other truck he was towing was an 800hp truck from their shop on a 25ft gooseneck and the truck doesnt run a water system on it. As far as speed they kept up with traffic the whole way. Adam is much for being passed, trailer or no trailer.
 
the burn out vid is bad because at that time the top charger was wasted from the egt prob going threw it.half of the fins were gone. so I think it was a great burnout since it was half dead
 
Great job Adam and guys. Sorry to hear about the turo/probe. But it could have been worse as you already know. Those pics of your turbo from last year say enough. LOL

So does the turbine wheel just self balance as you slowly melt it down with 2000+ egts? Does the nitrous do that, high drive pressure, or a combination of all?


Amazing it still spins free and balanced enough to not grenade.

You should see the compressor wheel on my buddy's hx35. Looks exactly like that and still turns over 40psi.

i'm in jersey and mine came on saturday or friday not sure... but i always get it really early in the month
