If you want to create a consumer guide of sorts, at least explain the other options and why they work. If any true consumer advocate group started reviewing a product and saying "this is the product, it sucks, QC is terrible, and there are better options" without ever mentioning what the other options are and why they are better... They are going to lose credability rather quickly. The links to your recommendations are much appreciated. But without given a lick of information as to why you would recommend these companies over others, what they do differently and why they do it, it is just more white noise in the static of what this forum used to be.

Anyone have a recommendation for a good smoke switch?

I do, you will gain vast knowledge of one here.
Instead of completeing the task for you, call that company and ask questions. If you're already well versed in that aspect then you don't have to gain any knowledge that they give forth, hence why smokem hands out directions on where he would go. Most are just naive as already stated.

Read the thread I posted a link to, you may learn something, I tire of repeating myself to people that "demand" it. I brought up issues with two companies you are a fan of, you get upset at me for this, surprise surprise.

You brought up issues without backing them up. Without any information other than your opinion.

You wanna talk trash about your competition? Fine. Trash talk away. But it is pathetic, and there is no other word for it, that you make these claims without a lick of proof, and when someone calls you on it you say "well call the parties involved." It's nothing more than highschool clique bull**** around here lately, and I'm not in enough cliques to get the memo every time someone is pissed off at someone else.

I asked you very specific questions. You did nothing more than throw out red hearings and try to divert the subject to attacks on me. I'm sure there are pleanty of people on this site that are tired of repeating themselves to you every time you demand it.

It must be difficult to swallow your pride when the shoe is on the other foot. When someone says "wait a minute, what are you talking about here?" If you don't like explaining why your product is better, maybe you should stop ****ting on every thread that brings up a competitors product?

If you've got a claim, back it up.

If you make a better product, prove it.

If you're going to do nothing but ask technical questions to your competition, don't get butt hurt when someone asks them back.

If you can't do those three things.. Take a 30 second chill pill before you post whatever it is you're about to post.

Are you suggesting that Don's injectors fail because he isn't balancing an EDM nozzle? That a balanced nozzle will not fail in the same circumstances? You want everyone to hold your hand when you ask questions, but you're offended when someone asks similar questions of you? Is that it? I'm at a loss right now.

Lay off the personal "hand holding" comments and do what you're asking your competitors to do. I'm sure they are just as sick of seeing your same questions over and over.

My PM's are open as well but you failed to take it to that after I sarcastically explained you had a swollen vaginal area. I see what you're saying and where your frustration lies. But the fact of the matter is no one is ever going to divuldge everything they know especially to someone that has not purchased their products etc. etc. In fact, of most here, Weston will provide some of the best information.

You can't expect every faulty thing identified to be posted up on a message forum; a forum where people who may have one in ten or more or less things turn up faulty pay to sponsor. It doesn't work that way. History has shown when threads turn up like this they don't last long. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out why they don't last long.

I've purchased things from and have spoken with Weston every since i've joined the 12valve world on a regular basis. I assure you he will discuss with you the downfalls of products he's had first hand experience with fixing those downfalls, not second/third/fourth etc. hand information. He will not hold anything back, atleast if you treat him with respect and are a customer of his.

Good luck to you sir. I suggest taking a step back, taking this all in, and reconsidering the fact that you're not going to get all you can out of a thread in a forum. There are rare examples of useful threads floating around here but this is transforming into a very useless one.:Cheer:

It also has to do with his frequent requests for information from his competitors, but his unwillingness to provide similar information when requested.

It's not opinion. Like I mentioned earlier, make a phone call if you like, you may hear some things that make sense. I will withhold the information I have at hand, I am asking simple questions, not incriminating anyone. Blame was put on the fact that a sac type nozzle was used, this is not where the real issue lies.

I don't have time to back up everything I read on the internet with phone calls, but out of respect for ALL parties involved, I will simply let this die, and if the time ever comes for me to make a purchase, I will contact all parties I can think of in order to get as much information as possible. I will assume that full disclosure comes through the phone, and not the internet, from now on.

No hard feelings by me Weston, or anyone else involved.

just to add some fuel... I called and talked to Greg at Exergy. He suggested for the amont of fuel i was lookin at i need to use Performance Bosch nozzles that are SAC style. They then hone to better the fluid output to my desired size then balance.
I am sending them a complete set of injectors that have never been ran before. These are low mile bodies rebuilt by F1 and large F1 nozzles. Mine being 03 F1 says they are from new blanks (says so on their web site) I am having them do every test possible to tell me exactly what i have. We will se if they are up to par.
I pmD smokem or what ever his name is and he never replied. I don't have a shop or am not in any circle of diesel peeps so i was asking as a unbias consumer....no reply
 
Responding to other vendors with a clear agenda gets us nowhere....so even when they post comments taken out of context or wild misinformation I cant "set the record straight" to every internet poster who pops up.

Another problem is many "fish" information. They read my posts with great intensity to glean anything they can. Some of these guys advertise as being adept at "reverse engineering" WTH?
