Congrats Mr BS
Congrats Mr BS
Looks real nice. Lot of work , but so worth it to do it yourself and know every bolt is tight and nothing is cross threaded or missing. Takes a little getting used to when you change the set up and you get all the weird little noises.
Id be watching the PSI without studs though. Do you plan on a coolant bypass or freeze plug block off?
Is the rest of your drive train up to the challenge of handling 800 HP?
How much boost from the bottom turbo? Ya need like 32-35, IMO. That seems to dyno and run good with those twins.
lol
I'm looking forward to it Don!! Thank you for your help and guidance!!! I'll keep you posted when we get it broke in and on the dyno.....
how did garmon tel you to break in the engine, and for how much time?
BTW that pistons looks exactly like the #6 in the 06 CR in my sig. we hear it missing during spool up, anyway raced the 1/4 mile and at the end it ran like crap. did a 12.2, just before it did under 12 secs.
is that an injector sticking open? we didnt check the injectors after rebuild, im affraid we should have...

would appear that no real break in method was used..run it as you would. 60psi no retorque on a freshy makes me nervous
