The Garmon built "Interceptor" build status!

Ok, im back home from Jeff's shop today..

Had a few set backs =( I know chit happens in business but today it bit me a little....I had a spacer that was left out of my twins kit that completely held me up from installing them past what you see in the pics....

So, I decided to hang the dual cp3 kit and got in almost finished...Have to wait to drop the engine in the frame to tap into my FASS supply line....

I should have the spacer by Friday (I hope!!!!) and should get the twins installed and the engine dropped in the truck.....Hoping to be driving this dang thing in a week or two!!!!!

So, Here are the only pics I've got for today......BTW, my old camera's flash is not working so sorry for the dim lighting and bad pics....

I'm just gonna tap and cap the RV banjo bolt....Haven't done it yet though.....It's on the list!!!

Yeah, I need it in my hands by Thurs night so I can head down to Jeff's first thing Friday morn.....

Should have this thing in the truck by that night.....I'm gonna try to talk Jeff into to hellping me on Saturday as well.......I'm am READY to drive this thing!!!

Man get rid of that small fuel hose! Go big or stay home LOL

Which ones???

The one on the stock filter set up is just he return line.....Not using the stock supply line.....My FASS has a separate fuel line that I've gotta tap into when I get the engine in the truck....

The lines supplied by PPE seemed a little smallish but oh well......Having a Floor It Stg 2 on bottom and a DMAX pump on top, I should be FINE with fuel for a LONG time!!!!!!:rockwoot:

Im talking bout the 3/8s fuel hose i see in the pic. Yes i love the return line setup.

Getting VERY close bro!

Yeah, but when I found I was missing a part that stopped me in my tracks I was TWEAKED!!!! Oh well, chit happens......

Patience!!! Patience!! I gotta keep reminding myself to have patience!!!

LOL

Make sure you drill for your pyro befor you get to far. I got the whole thing assembled just to realize the probe wouldn't fit. So drill it before the to charger is completly fastened. Lookin good. Our trucks are twins

you guys are movin right alone with that thing... look like fun. See ya this weekend.

Looking hella good Big man... IMO tho i would get the bottom charger set and the exhaust housing on the top turbo and get the hot pipe mounted up (i know you need the spacer!!! LOL) and then get all your drain tubes connected. Also drill your pyro like CHris said... I had to take my first set of twins apart too to re drill it.. LOL:bang:bang

Get all the little things buttoned up while you motor's out of the truck, then get the motor installed and buttoned up and then put the compressor side of the top turbo on.

1. you will need to istall the adjustable wastegate Nathan sends and i twill be 10x easier with the compressor side off.

2 you will have to clock the top turbo almost 180 degrees from where it is at in the pic to lign up with the intercooler boots..

But that's just me...

P.S. got your last voicemail.. sorry we were at dinner ... Give me a shout when you get the motor in the frame....:rockwoot:

Yeah man!! I'll see ya this weekend TY....

Thanks for the advice Luvin.....Problem is, I'm taking my pyro that came with my BD Outlook monitor off...Selling the unit....I don't yet have another pyro set up.....But frankly, Who needs one with this Air!!! I've heard several say that you could just take the pyro off with these twins......
I guess I need to go buy a guage pretty quick.....

Woah there....don't go bareback there....I guess I'm running quite a bit more fuel....really still need the pyro. AND its so much easier doing it now. The tuning aspect as well, getting the gates set for the lowest egt.

Cool to see it coming together! You'll be impressed!

Looking great Swole I am sure that thing is really gona rock. While you have the motor on the bench yet you should get rid of that filter canister all you would have to do is get a piece of pipe or hose or something to tie the 2 return lines together it really cleans up that side of the motor. I can't wait to see it run.

agreed... although with that set up my egt guage was worthless I'd rather have one than not... and for tuning they're well worth it..
