Tired of 8000 lbs Classes

My issue is, Fords generally have to Strip so much weight and the rest can add freely. My 6.4 does pretty well around here at the Pulls. And my truck is by no means 'setup' for pulling. I am no trash talker on other peoples trucks but any means nor do I brag about mine.

Maybe organizations just need to start a Ford Class.

Add, remove, move weight........
Swap tires, change pressures........
Change injectors, pumps, cams, pistons........
Gear ratio changes.......

It all sounds like part of the game to me.

If you want to pull do what you got to do.

The rules are what make it a competition........

Build to the rules.......Dont ask the rules to change for you......

I understand that but twice now, I have been to pulls advertised as 8500 lb limi and I drive there and they tell me Im over cause its 8000 lb limit. That is a pisser when that happens

Im not preaching any of that... just a small time dude trying to make a decent truck, and still daily drive the thing.

And im sure maybe on other forums that there are people with that attitude, but i know the reality of things, its going to take alot of work to make a ford competitive, but i also hate the attitude that it will "never" happen... how do you know can you see the future?
Im just saying im never going to do a cummins swap, buy a dodge, or a duramax, im just going to keep plugging away with what i got, and bottom line is to have fun, pretty sure thats why everyone does what they do anyway, if its not fun whats the point?

Damn straight. More power to ya. Track results speak for themselves.
