Truckers, lets see your rigs!

Bingo! Everyone that complains about Cat prices has NEVER priced Cummins or John Deere parts. An ISX overhaul kit is slightly more than a Cat Gold kit and you had better be sitting down if you ever have issues with the DOHC's on those red turds. Cat is proud of their parts but they're right in line with the others.

I have heard from several people old Cummins parts are priced like gold.

A new top stop injector is $700+, a 1 1/4" gear pump is a $950 plus a core and they won't take the old style. I'm glad there is the aftermarket stuff out there and it actually seems pretty decent for the big cams, the same cam is $461, and I can have a custom set of injectors built with bigger barrels in them for less than even a reman from cummins.

Here's my last few days. The fist one is the jig I made to do the wheels

Question for the Petercar experts. Truck was sitting for a year and I don't have overhead dome lights or radio power but I have power at the cb. Fuses wiring all checks out, what am I missing?

91 model 8.3L Cummins with an allison behind it... can it be modded lightly without killing allison?

Its probably a 54x or 64x series, Rick, not the 1000-2000 series that's behind the dmax engines lol
