Truckers, lets see your rigs!

Grassy ass, Amigo.

These are them, although I know I bought them from Ebay, not Amazon.

They do fit in a normal 6" oval grommet IIRC, I think they even come with them.

I don't think this company makes grommet style LEDs but they make some that light the world up lol. The have a 50" Light bar that I'm going to flush mount in the front bumper for those long dark roads :)

Hey y'all, who is the "Mr. Haney" of 60 series Detroits? I want to pull the trigger on a 379 with a Detroit in the next twelve months, but want to start doing my research now. What years are best to modify for HP, what's available for them, who does the best computer work, etc. etc.

Haney is the more respected of the PDI delearship/ECM calibrators in the Heavy Duty cat/cummins/Detroit world

SPEECHLESS!!!! I knew you could make some good numbers with an S60, but no idea they could be taken to that level. I'll get in touch with him, but I seriously doubt I can afford to take it to that level. Does anyone know if he did a build thread for that truck on any forum?

No, there isnt one.

You dont have to get that radical, he can get you going on a good useable 700 horse engine.

we have a few buses tuned to 500 hp and we are constantly replacing the Gear covers due to cracking ... anyone know what and why this is caused by ?

I was thinking it was torsional loading or possibly the torque from the mounts but, honestly were kinda stumped , these engines are in r mci busses and setras, and while the performance is great our 475-450's never have needed this done ? anyone able to shed light there ?

I just got done with one is why i am asking .

Question for the fuel mileage experts. What would the downside be to running an 8LL in front of 2.64 rears vs a direct drive 10spd? A buddy presented this option as we were discussing optimum mileage and capability to have a low reverse. Obviously this is all being spun by a tuned green motor.
