For some reason my overhead console in my 08 lost all function/readings except the temp. no average fuel readings,miles to empty ECT nothing but temp reading now any one had this happen.

Thanks to Joe Hellmann for again getting me a head gasket for my truck Propt service as always and lord knows it seems i am the king at blowing head gaskets. to much timing ,to much foot and to much fuel makes for a rough weekend. :hehe: thanks again Joe ready to play again :rockwoot:

i know some of you guys have pulled the AFC arm out and running with out it. anyone have a spare they would like to sell? prefer one that is stock.

any one made a home made water meth system. and could it be done with just a toggle to turn off and on or should a hobbs switch be a must to have.

the other day i noticed my truck has started to put off a white haze from the exhaust when cold as the motor warms up it will get less noticable but it is still there because when i drive to work in the morning i can see it in the headlights of the cars behind me. any thoughts on this. i need...

OK fixing to install my twins this week ! any tips or pointers from those who have done it already. one thing i have been looking at is where to run the 2nd oil return line for the bottom turbo .

i have a buddy looking for a after market down pipe for his 97 7.3 power stroke ! any suggestion on where to find the thing. i told him i would check into it. I run a dodge cummins so i have not really paid any attention to the power stroke stuff. heck if some one has a used after market...

Guys i found a 24v head for sale the head has been o-ringed ! the guy wants 450.00 plus shipping ! 98-02 (i think i know he said 98-?) it was on a pulling truck 3 hooks only ! he is selling some other stuff as well. anyone interested PM i tell you where to find it.

Well it looks like i am going to have to put this thing in the shop. i have searched every wire and tested until i am out of thoughts here. this will be the first time in i don't know how long i have put a car in the shop for anything other than Tire's and once for a front end alignment...

OK i was driving to work and all of a sudden my truck starts kicking in and out of gear the tach is dropping to zero but when the tach jumps back to the right rpm it drives fine then it started doing this over and over again the check engine light comes on the ALT light comes on ??? the sad...

Well i have cured the head gasket issue (I HOPE) and since my luck really is bad the 2nd day i drive the truck to work just rolling along some SOB pulls out in front of me sweet huh so i lock the brakes up to keep from sending him to meet his maker ! And now my ABS light and break light are...

well i have my truck back togeather AGAIN lol. special thanks to Joe Hellmann for his machine work and advise. all seem to be well once more. no back to my mission of getting the truck complete before the end of the year so i can move on to another project !

I am going out of my freaking mind just got the head gasket fixed truck running great get to work and the dad gum front seal is leaking like a stuck pig ! i am getting tired of working on this thing ! *bdh*

Just changed the head gasket a little while back truck was running good but with the extra goodies i added while doing the head gasket the egt's could bang 1600+ pretty easy so i was keeping my foot out of it ! OK got on it a few time's LOL could not help it ! any way i drive to work...
