I got that all bolted in....forgot to get a picture.

Onto the front. I made some frame liners from an old frame we had laying around. i'm bolting it in where the steering box is, and the same spot on the other side to distribute the load of the front crossmember.

Brandon got a plasma cutter, chopping out 1/4 inch takes seconds!

I will obviously clean them up, but I breath enough fumes for one night cutting, welding, and grinding. this will brace up the front and prevent it from diamonding.

if the truck gets hit in the corner of the frame it pushes one rail, causing the one side to move. Make the frame out of square like a diamond.

wow nice set up...like to see other people who believe there is no such thing as over kill...

Some people have luck doing things half assed. I look at worst case scenario and think "how can I prevent something stupid from ever happening?"......

I've read about 100 466 threads that went no where. I think this might be the first one that gets finished.

Yeah, me too Joe. Too deep, and committed to give up. And this is my pride and joy, not a truck I just had and a engine I found. People told me a 6.9 wouldn't fit in a scout and I made it happen. The only thing i'm worried about happening is not reaching my 500 horsepower goal!

Yeahhhhh. I have $1800 into a pump that'll just about scratch 400 (want more than that) and undecided on a turbo.

Fabbed up the tcase brace:

Brandon was sick of sheetmetal work, so I sat back and let him do some heavy welding! Custom engine cradle.

Yeah there's junk on the pistons, some debris snuck down the injector holes.

I need to pull the piston and measure clearances. I can see a lot of the ring, and if I try to move the piston it'll clunk on the cyl wall. I was hoping to get away without a rebuild, but I may have to slip in some liners and pistons..... ugh.

I wouldn't have the international script tattooed on my arm if I liked Hondas! Haha

Haha I drive a 9100 set on a 6x6 paystar 5000 chassi with 54" tires 50 ton axles rear axles and a 22 ton front every day. I like the internationals but I swapped out my 6.9 for a cummins in my ford and the 466 for a ism in the big truck.
