Got the rear u bolts, have to whip up some spring mounts and bolt it in!

looks like things are moving along nicely..makes me wish i had time and money to get back to my project...

That's the great thing about heavy duty truck parts- I don't know how much the cylinder liners cost, but it's pretty cool that you can rebuild the motor without a trip to the machine shop.

pulled the crank to get the block cleaned!

All the grease....and most of the paint stripped. spent 3 hours in the hot tank while I cleaned a 5 gallon bucket (literally) full of v12 cummins head bolts on the wire wheel.

Junk military tires. Yet to find anything they get traction on. I'm just using them to move it. Will probably wind up with bfg ats, or deffinity Dakota's.

Crank is torqued, pistons are ready to go, liners are measured and dropped in! gotta get it back on the stand tomorrow.

Thank God someone is reading this! Haha slow but steady progress. Sent out the exhaust manifold for heat coating. Going to pick the head up soon, waiting to see of there's an update on the keepers for the roller lifters. Heard a few people say they can break and wipe out the cam.

Have you decided to box any of the frame yet? Or are you just going to do it as needed if at all?

Got the rebuilt head back from my friend's shop.
