Have you tried a "warm air" intake yet? I've read a lot of claims that fuel economy increases when your intake pulls warm air off the manifold.

Obviously cold air is better for horsepower, just curious to hear if you've tried warm air?

when i ran the twins, the pipe came up and stop behind the head light with no issues. samething on my ford, i get the oil analyzed every third oil change and they came back with nothing. im sure it isnt the best idea. last night i was looking at taking chicken wire and placing it in between the velocity stack and piping when i put the velocity stack on.

the engine has close to 280,000 miles on it, plus me beating the piss out of it, i have little worries about the intake, im more concerned about the comp wheel. but if it goes, i can just get a billet one

You are lucky

Air filters are lame just sayin...

Tru dat. If half my driving wasn't dirt, I probably wouldn't run one either. That, and 8 months out of the year there's snow and sand on the road.

Sent from my phone, probably while driving, so please excuse the typos.

all mine is highway, the truck doesnt move when it rains or snows.

Damn, looks like you're on pace for an easy 25. How are your driving habits?!
