I will be there for sure to watch this!
Will owns his own truck, and pays for all of the parts.
I know a handful that want to enter, but won't if it requires a charger with protrusion. No point in taking off or buying a charger for one race.

I'm thinking $25,000 is a pretty good point to swap turbos.
i know of a few people building trucks just for this race..
You must have never seen a bushing. Earlier in the thread it stated that bushings were allowed, then Scheid's rules were to be used, which requires protrusion. Which is it? There is a big difference in price.
I do as well , $20,000 so far this year, and counting , but your just jelious , you can't pick up the phone and get parts , why ?
He is so out classed by this type of rubber meets the road kind of racing , if he were such a whizz kid in the diesel world , he would be confident in his ability’s and put up or shut up
I thought what I posted would clear this up! If you (anyone) wants to race this event, do the research on the rules and weigh the cost option... If its a go, pay the money and show up. If its not, then please spread the word and come out and watch!!
Don't misunderstand me David, I think it's a great idea, and a great thing that Jeff is doing. Do you think anyone may have entered under the assumption they could bush down to a 2.6", only to find out otherwise?
Absolutely!! And thats our fault for not getting it straight before letting the cat outta the bag.. But we're only one day into it with 5 months to go. Im Sure Jeff is in contact with all of the paid entries and has explained the revision to them. Im also positive he'll gladly refund and sell that spot to someone else if by chance someone did...
My apploigeeze for not having our chit together 100%!!
We'll try hard to not let it happen again!
:Cheer:
Since we are running with scheids rules. This really gives the advantage to the Duramax guys as far as making power. If you want it to be a protrustion clipped wheel rule. Now if you said straight 66 like S300 and holset based that evens up the playing field grately IMO.
It also comes down to who can hook who is the lightest But sorry I'm with Greg on this one. I'll back out since no bushings. Not going to buy a new charger. Should of thought long and hard about the rules before posting this giving the northern guys more testing and time.
Testing up north is pretty much shot now.

Fair Enough!! Don't blaim ya a bit...
Hope you'll come out and at least watch!
