That's correct.

I'd like to try 28* or so, but I'm afraid I'll lose the head gasket if I go any higher on the timing with this 245K mile original head gasket.

It has enough trap speed to run mid 11's, it just needs more traction and a moderate boosted launch. Hopefully adding more power will shave the last 0.3 seconds off my 1/4 mile times. Less than 2 weeks from now, we'll know for sure.

Racking the barrel's and adding full cuts, should be a substantial increase in power. I expect that you will see over 100psi of boost.

I'll take the under on the 100psi, since he needs load (read as traction) for boost. It must be pretty scary when you have to worry about traction in 3-4th LOL

thhat post still didnt really have any specifics in it.

let me break it down....

1. loosen 2 nuts on #1 barrel
2. Tap the barrel on the left hand side to the firewall till it makes a different ping.
3. Tighten 2 nuts and repeat.

So easy a caveman could do it :lolly:

keep in mind this isn't necessarily a balanced flow to all cylinders though...

Wow much easier than I thought, albeit it's not balanced. Twist those f*ckers up on the junker, you could pump the fuel after like 30 seconds of cranking into a cup and weigh it on a digital scale for a redneck balance job.

we have done that with fuel injectors and gatorade bottles on an eclipse to find the 4 we needed!!

I have heard that its not good for a 215 pump is that true
