97 12 valve Budget Build

Quit being a know it all as u said your 19 an I'm sure you do know quite a bit of stuff but you are know where near what many of the guys on here are... An with dual feed 5x18's and a stock CR turbo it will be no time an you'll be posting "97 12 valve budget build 2".... Sorry for the back to backs my phone didn't update
 
Its cool guys, I know yall are smarter (look at all those posts!! WOW) in all seriousness im not trying to et an attitude and dont want to start off on the wrong foot. Your opinions and thoughts are what im here for! Lets try this again.. Hi, my names Logan and im a beginner with all this. I just bought a 97 Dodge 2500 Cummins and want to build it faaaaaaast. Any and all input is appreciated! (also this engine came from another truck that dynoed around 550, i wasnt just throwing that number out there.. Thanks!

Posts have nothing to do with it bud, I'm more than willing to help anyone out that asks for help, including you. What are your goals for your truck? Do you want a single charger or twins?

Seriously, I've been modding diesels for a long time and I know my stuff. Know what I do when I get on this site? I shut the fukk up and politely learn as much as I can.

Im confused? Why did you "mill" the head .20? And you are going to run 120lbs springs on a stock cam, why? 5x.018's on a stock cr turbo, huh?

Hmmmmm:bang I can tell you whats going to happen, but i will let you find out on your own since "you know what your doing":hehe:

Jeez you guys are all newbs.....big numbers mean big power, just like newer turbos are better than old turbos.
 
It's just a bigger turbo than what I have so I'm gonna run it for the time being... Hopefully run twins at some point

Did you overtorque the stock head bolts, or install aftermarket studs?

If yes, you better add that to your high performance mod list.....right next to your gauges and milled head :hehe:
 
Are you related to Johnny boy? If not, you two should get together and start a high performance cummings shop.

If you are related, you should probably give him a call, he can probably help you get to 550 HP with about 6 "cr turbos."

My question is how long will it take till it washes the rings with that much fuel and no air?

Your a pretty funny guy... Not really a high performance mod either. I put gauges on that list because (if you read the entire thread, assuming you CAN read) people asked if I had gauges.. Thanks for the valuable input!
