June 5 in Ohio

So who is headed out friday from the New Stanton area? Got my requested days off and room reserved. Figured it would be nice to tag along. Will be the lil ladies first diesel event (shes like 5 foot nothing lol).
 
Bringing the hotel list back up to the top. We have been getting several call about where to stay. You will be able to stay at the track if you are self-contained. If not there is a campground right next to the track with hook-ups and a KOA that is very nice less than 10 mins away. Most of the hotels are within 10mins also.

Is it a sled pull test and tune also or just a drag test and tune?
 
June 5th is right around the corner! Im still in for a convoy from Eby and will be bringing 3-5 trucks with me...what time do the gates open? are we gona be parking inside the event or is the parking outside the raceway?
 
i think alot of peopple are getting there at 8 or so, atleast people competing.. I know sleepy is trailoring me from eby so hopefully he knows what time we should leave..lol
 
Did you guys ever figure out what the payouts are going to be yet? Just curious.
 
computer probs haven't been able to get on...thinking eby convoy should meet around 7am since things are starting at 9, should take about an hour or so to get there

Toolman, glad to see you making the trip, Chuck and Gene haven't sat down to iron out the purses but they will be normal for us which means for drag at least $1000 for first in each class, cash at the track, no forms to fill out, or contingency - just a check if you win!
 
I am looking forward to being there it will be the first race of the year for me. I have been talking to a few other Quick Diesel guys and it sounds like they are coming too. It should be a good turn out.

Awesome! I know Lucky Dog Layden said he was coming down to try out his new truck! Old one burned up if you haven't heard! Got some boys from down South coming too!
 
Absolutely will be there. Bringing my truck, and my two work vehicles, so a couple buddies can bracket race.
 
anyword on what time everything should be starting? like sled pulling classes and such, I heard 10:00? order ws/2.6 and so on? thanks

2.6 will be up 1st then Super Street so those guys can make it to another pull later in the evening .
