Registration opened when it was suppose to, however when the racing should have started and the drivers meeting there were 12 trucks registered who wants to come to a show and watch 12 trucks (you may have been there but you were not registered), so then you all would have complained that no one was there and it sucked.
How would you like to payout all the costs to put on a race and have it for 12 racers not worth it.
Does anyone have a clue how much money it takes. Rent track 7-11 thousand depends on where. Paying your staff, flights and rental cars because there all from OH, MO, PA, MI lets say another 3-5 thousand, you pay for advertising, food costs for all your help, now registration this time was cut in half with a free hook, ( no one appreciated that) now sit back and do the math none of the staff is in this for the money it's for the fun and love of the sport, who wants to get paid $100 bucks to fly down to Texas and get yelled at and called a prick or worthless hell i am sure we can stay home for that. We all have other jobs and I am quite sure they are not Tractor mechanics and used car salesmen, and guess what families too that we have to pack up and leave for a weekend fly in a 10pm wake up race all day and wake up at 7am to fly back home, But yeah your welcome for the racers/pullers who appreciated it.

I'm surprised no one has a done like a diesel border shootout down south in south Texas ..like in edinburge Texas wich is close to the border of Mexico. Not sure how many people would make the trip but the truck scene is offthe charts down there
 
You need a fast truck down there, just so you dont get shot in a drug war shoot out.

As in South of Nuevo Laredo? No thanks... Im sure its off the charts and im sure the money being used to buy the parts are too.
 
Lol na dude it's laid back and so are all the guys! Diesels are kinda new to them down there as far as racing goes. I go to the truck shootouts every year and it's every bit as big as crandall if not bigger. Nice racers that just don't get to see fast diesels very often. I think it would be worth a shot

Wow I see y'all must not go to the edinburg race track? Y'all must listen to the news to much instead of knowing first hand. It's about 1.5 hrs from south padre island
 
I'd be down for that one, I could make it a business trip since I sell almost every truck dealership in Pharr. lol

this is the promo video for the event this year which has allready passed. if you look you can see it is packed full of trucks. mine being the big cc lb white chevy. Alot of people leave their slicks and other tires and nos tanks in the parking lot to hold their parking spots while they race and no one steals anything.

Sweet! A scorcher in August mid day but who cares. Post up that event on here somewhere next year. Assuming diesels can race.

WOW!! A 2.6 truck put 41ft. on 2nd place in the 2.8 class!!! Way to go Garry. To bad you couldn't have ran 3 classes. You may have made a clean sweep!!
