Very good people to work with the guy called the piston company and talked to the Tec,guy before he would sell to me.they have all brands.
 
Did some polishing for Mark (ShowMe per,) for his display at Gordyville Ill.this week end air kills and volosity stacks.I didn't take any pictures of before.To keep busy while waiting for parts.tracking said I will have them monday morning.

The parts came in Wednesday afternoon going to unpack them tonight after work.
Found some of the old pictures of when I put in the 372 Perkins looks very different from then to now.will post them tonight.

Back in 1991 is when I put the 372 Perkins out of a 750 massey combine.Made a adaptor for the c6 ford trany.I have learned alot cince I did this swap.look's alittle differant today with the 6.0 perkins Phaser

Got all new valves on the way should have head back this weekend and motor back in I hope.

Have the short block back together got the head done monday evening I learned how to ise a Sunnen head michene and a head surfaceing michene and how to set up The head is perfect now all the seats are square and deck is perfect.

Finnally got the motor back in this afternoon from the time we hooked on the motor with the cherry picker to the tightning of the mounts started it at 1:05 pm and head it bolted up at 1:38 pm .after that we slowed down alot.have to get some oil filters tomorrow morning.that is all I need to start it.Not going to put the rad,or IC in yet making sure that I don't have a vibration with the aircompressor.There are 2 options for the compressors one don't have to time the other has to.My gear for the comp,didn't have any marks on it at all so pritty shure I am good to go with out having to time it.

Just got back home we took the in-laws out for dinner at ponderosa for mother inlaws birthday.getting ready to head to the shop to get her started.I have to fix a outside axle flange grease leak.

Got her running alot easier than the last time she actully started on 2 cyl.when I got 5&6 bled I had to husle to get the rest of the lines tighten.i had my remote starter button let it idle for a min,then I took the rpms up just a little the hell broke loose oil shot all the way up my garage door to the cealing a he-- of a mess blew the rubber O-ring on the remote oilfilter.by the time I got her shut off there was about 2 gallons of oil all over.
Put a new filter on and put some more oil in started it up while I was in the cab took the rpms up to 200rpms off idle oil pressure went to over 100 psi almost to 0 have to pull the pan and look at the oil releif valve.
