I've been attending GDP shop days since 2003 and all I can say is what a sorry m***************r!
I've been so slammed with work the last month I haven't had time to acknowledge my own dog which is why I why I couldn't stay long Saturday morning and felt that I needed to sneak out under the radar after my short appearance (so not to catch chit). Now 3 different people email me a link to this thread which in return has p'd me off.
Let me tell you something about Jeff's shop days over the years that I never quite understood but will help make the average person understand his idea off of what a successful shop day is to him.
After I attended my first GDP shop day and got to know Jeff a little better I asked him (more than once over the years) why he didn't try to intentionally sell (other than those that specifically showed up wanting to buy something) discounted product during his shop day since marketing tells me his suppliers would offer him discounted product to offer as shop day specials. My rationale was his customers had an opportunity to purchase discounted product and he had an opportunity to make a few extra bucks during his shop day. Win/Win right?
Jeff told me more than once that his shop days aren't about him making money but an opportunity for everyone to have fun, show up and show out on the dyno. Basically he said this was his way of showing customer appreciation and having fun without any strings attached.
How many other shop days have you been to where the shop didn't give a chit if he sold something let alone made his money back on the burgers, bbq and beer over the course of a 12+ hour Saturday? That's pretty stand up if you ask me!
So I'll give $250 to anyone who drops the dime which leads to the arrest and conviction of the POS chit that lifted this turbo. I don't care if the turbo magically ends up in Jeff's parking lot one night I'm looking for info to link a b***h with his hand in the cookie jar.
I've been around long enough to know my money doesn't need to be in a Paypal account in order to be considered money in the bank plus many here know where I live in addition to having my cell phone number. That said if you have evidence I can take to my prosecutor buddies I have cash!
I personally know enough prosecutors on this side of ATL to know the LAST place I would do anything stupid is in Spalding County where this theft occurred and while I haven't the slightest clue what this turbo is worth if it merits a felony charge in Spalding County you are in a WOS because that particular side of their judicial system is notorious for handing down old-school-throw-the-book-at-them-and-pee-the-liberal-ATL-paper-off-in-the-process sentencing.
The stupidest part about all of this is the cost of the turbo won't even effect a successful business owner like Jeff but the simple principle of this BS will. What do you bet now that if and when Jeff has another shop day he feels inclined to lock up his 20+ years of tools which we all had unfettered access to in the past? i wouldn't blame him.
Lie to my face, talk all the chit you want behind my back but God forbid you steal something from me and I catch your sorry ***!!!!
