Truckers, lets see your rigs!

Working industrial field service out of Calgary. I was into $45hr. Supplied service truck. Fuel card etc. Put in some good solid overtime for about $120k. Nowa days I'm fixing oilsand equipment. And I'm into more than double that as an employee. No business costs.

Decided to change direction on my w900, I think I'm going to just build it so we can use it every once in a while, and because the engine I was going to use needs a complete overhaul to get it back to good working order. I think we are going to set this old beast down in her.

Is that in middletown?
You live to far away. I can't get a job here using my cdl for jack. I'm only 21 so everyone laughs at me. Everyone in my area requires at least 23 and 1-2 years experience. How am I supposed to get experience if nobody lets me drive?!

I'd love to have my own truck. I'm looking yet again for a driving Job.
I might be able to talk to my Dad and see if his company needs a driver. They are all flat beds, mostly coils. The company is either in Ohio or KY can't remember.

Well that's not very close to MO... Lol

What was the other engine?

lol, not with me driving yet. I bought two sets of trains and look like a tard backing them. Take everything you've ever learned and do the exact opposite.

I've pulled a B-train a little, it would sure be nice to be able to back in to places or parking spots at truck stops

My degree is in heavy diesel repair such as trucks and heavy equipment. I did that for 5 years then worked for caterpillar for 5 years then bought my own truck. I have an accountant that takes care of everything and I pretty much get a paycheck as an employee. The biggest thing for me was like what Mr T said. The truck costs 1.35-1.50 a mile to operate and the loads pay 2.50 a mile. So for me the headache is worth it. I was also getting tired of driving everyone elses junk while they socked all there money away for their own stuff.

Just seen some pics on Ernie's Wrecker Service facebook page. Ho....ly....cow.

They are always good for some really cool calendars.

This is why we have herd bumpers. To keep our hoods safe from idiot teenage drivers.
