So igot an mxs here gettin done. Gettin low comp pistons and ivas gone. I have everything i could swap to a 70 pin or i could just do a custom tune in the 120? The 70 oin is pre e log dated

Whatever you want to do but he will make more money with the Elog, just saying.

If your selling the parts it’s about $5000 to convert one if you have to buy new. Roughly $2k for ecm plus core, $1000 cam gear and $800 for BXS harness unless you repin the MXS (plus sensors if it has tyco and BXS has Deutsche). You can use 6NZ harness and rocker housing but the cost is the same vs BXS since you have to buy the injector harness also.

Tune is cheaper and you can use the 800hp cam with a good file.

Hard to say right now. I haven’t got it loaded. It seems to have less of a narrow power band but like I said... I’ve been either bobtail or empty. Hard to say.

I asked because the guy that did this last round of stuff says that’s who he uses.
I’d probably like to have Faulkner tune it.
We’ll just have to see how things go.
It’s obviously gonna need a cam sometime, and we still aren’t sure on the injectors.

Not sure on their cat stuff, but every cummins tune ive seen from them sux the big one. They're popular cause they'll send a vendor a communication module that allows diesel spec to directly hook to the ecm. Meaning the shop doesnt need to purchase all the different tools needed to do tuning.

All you need is an adapter like a Nexiq/Cat Communicator/Inine5 ect and a computer and I’ll add fuel until you say stop. Don’t need to take it anywhere.
