EFILive Beta First Impressions

Pretty stoked to see what efi can do finally a product that will be suited for everyone not just the racers or the guys with stock trucks lookin for mpg, everyone, and that is a first for.sure in cummins tuning

SO freaking PUMPED to tune my non-cali S.O. - and to ditch my current "fooling" boxes

Don't think the 03 is coming out for a while, you have an 06 ecm laying around or something?

Will I still need a Boost Fooler to handle the trickery or will EFI cover it?

:bang

Do a little reading please.... going a page or 2 back wont kill you I promise

Ive done a LOT of reading... 52 pages worth so apparently I missed anything talking about the question I asked fellas. At your request Ill go back two pages and read again.

Thanks for your help!

EDIT I found it... the answer is NO you will not need a Boost Fooler!

Sorry if I came off as a ass, but like you I've read every page and as you know the same questions get asked time and time again. But once again if I sounded like a ass I apologize.

Good stuff here. I have a question that I don't think I have seen in the last 52 pages. Will turning off 2nd and 3rd injection events hurt power output or are they just for a quieter engine?:poke:

Can EFI Live tune a 2007 Jeep Grand Cherokee with the 3.0 Mercedes Common Rail Diesel engine?

I have researched and can't find out if the operating system is similar to the 06' Dodge Ram Cummins ECM.

you truck would sound like a 12v.. you woul want to shut of pre and post not 2nd and 3rd. I have no post after 2000 rpm and I can feel it in the truck and my injectors love me...lol

The GJC is probably a CanBus system but pretty sure it would be a totally different ECM key and Tech stuff so I doubt it.

The ECM used in your vehicle is the same as the GM LBZ Duramax - EDC16.

Unfortunately, while the ECM is physically the same, the software that drives the ECM along with the software that drives the vehicle is totally different.

As such, tuning is not supported with our product.

Cheers

No problems at all, FWIW, your ECM isn't on my EDC16 list, so I'm guessing it's got a different ECM again.

Cheers
