F250/Cummins Swap

Looks good man. Does having your exhaust housing that close to the computer ever worry you? I always think long term it's gotta be hard on the board, but I guess ours is Recessed into the wiper cowl.
I will get a picture of it tomorrow. There is more room there than that angle portrays. I'm relatively certain I can get my hand in between the two.
I have been looking at blankets though.

Sounds good for sure
All show no go ?.
I know this torque converter is an embarrassing mofo when you have to pull a camper up a 12% grade through camp sites to get to your site. Sounded like I was staging.

Ignore that busted ass tailgate. I made a couple of tactical errors on it and haven't fixed it yet.

I can understand the converter part mine is horribly loose. Had I not been the star of our campground I would’ve been kicked out again just for the noise ha.

I also don’t mention it often because I’ve been told it’s impossible or I’m lying, but my reg cab 4x4 12v (285’s and 3.55’s) got 24mpg on the way to the beach via 231 @ 55-60mph. I was trying to *****foot. Last year with out trying, but not dogging on it I got 20mpg. Typical daily driving is always 15-17mpg.

I pulled 21mpg out of my 12v loafing backroads at ~55 on 3.55's and 33's with gsk and plate.
I have gotten 18 avg. out of the ford once. Typically 15. I tend to drive heavy after a retune, but the thing is, I've made drastic changes to air and fuel and it's still in that 2mpg envelope, so I'm not complaining.
I was going to claim your country is flatter but then thought about everything from there to Birmingham is hills.

I only take these to terrorize another member here, but he up and sold his fummins on me. I don't pretty much every complete fill. Until I 3D printed the new sump, it would pull killer mileage until 3/4 tank and then nose dive. I had some pin holes in my corrugated pickup tube I believe.

Yeah, I didn't think it was all that tight. But what's the external temp on a exhaust housing that's pulling a 12k load a few states away? I don't like something that hot 6 inches away from my ecm lol. Not a lot we can do about it

Ignore the broken dipstick. I don't know if starting life as a gasser changes the packaging, but it would take a catastrophic amount of heat for it to be adversely affected.

I made a tune 5 WOT pull in 3rd yesterday thinking I was logging with the V2. The card apparently was in read only mode because it didn't record any of my digs.
Other than the hideous amount of smoke, it pulled hard, and was rocking me back in the seat at 80.

Log file from the lawn mower.
**** went awry. I forgot the problem gloss spray paint causes on aramid boots.

It wasn't super dry, you can see where it pulled the paint off.

If anyone is looking closely, the lawn mower has a torque limiter stopping fuel position at 130mm^3. Not a huge problem because the tables can be corrected for it to achieve commanded position, but still annoying. #statuscode45

Bust out the hair spray for the boots
I clocked the compressor and reset the boot after scuffing the end of the tube. If it unseats again I will stick it.

I got the back pressure gauge connected. It's wet out so I didn't do anything crazy, but what little boost I saw had it at 1 to 1 up to 10 psi.

:hehe:
cold air intake means nothing on a forced induction engine. Your compressor wheel superheats the charge air so much and so quickly, the only way to reduce true IATs is with better intercooling.

I know banks gets drug harder than a two year old in a gorilla enclosure here, but here's sum data

Manufacturers wouldn't spend money on it if it didn't produce results. How much is situational.
I've seen the numbers from cat on several engines, as well as the change from cylinder head jacket temp and btu capacity of the cooling pack, but I don't have access to the numbers any longer ?

Not a comparable application, but to sooty's point, we increased horsepower from 3200 to 5400 on two CAT 3620's or 24's by going to new liquid aftercoolers and electronic controls. That was only about 30,000 ftlbs of torque increase on each engine. ? The money is better spent on aftercooling, but I don't have the means to do something extravagant.
