you guys want a more competitive series let guys run it if they want, if they dont know what they are doing it will blow up and you have nothing to worry about. It being proven the only reason people dont want it is because they will lose.

In pulling nitrous usually only widens the gap.
Drag racing is another story (won't be discussing here).

A guy not spraying and is limited on inducer size will not pull nearly as far as the guy with limited inducer and breaks on spray and not nearly as far as the guy with the same limited inducer size and hooks and pulls well.

Throwing a nitrous bottle on truck will usually make it pull better (more power), but not nearly as well as a truck tuned to run on nitrous to it's full potential. It adds another layer of complexity that makes it tougher to be equal.

Again it has it's place, but not to try and make a class more equal or competitive as it's one more variable to account for (one of the reasons it's a good choice for the more evolved classes like the mods as they have less variables than street trucks.

u moust not of heard him say quit talking about mod class or he will lock this thread? I dont think schied even has a mod truck anymore..... unless ingram is runnning in it with there truck?

kent has a new truck coming this year, brad sold his and has a 3 in motor in kents old truck. you guys seriously wouldnt think that a dominant force in the mod class is going to just jump out do you?

2tone12v How far do ya go with teching a truck? Do ya want them tearing down your hole truck looking for infractions? Let me say this,im not using NOS!!! But back a few year ago i did in a gasser(itpa truck) and did so for a wile, my truck was teched most every pull and didnt find anything! People will find a way around rules... But thats my take on it. ???

Dont get stupid an complicated. Its as simple as opening your eyes and looking around for NOS. Dont be an idiot. No I dont want motors tore down for tech and all that. I would expect for tech people to take a peak under the hook. Check turbos, tool boxes for water and/or nos. Back seats and in the cab. Tech them to the rules that are given and are visible. There is no way to find a way around a no nitrous rule. Take the bottle off. Put it back on when your done pulling. Shouldnt be a problem to look around for a nitrous bottle. Stick to your brush pulls bud

Outlaw I think you should dress up in pink, put your banks stickers all over your truck and go out and get your butt handed to you by people that work hard to get their "street" trucks to run its best. Or do you even sled pull?

yes I pull prob. more than you... IM NOT PULLING AT TS THOUGH. i will be drag racing. thanks.

fyi stfu your not even in this are you? 2tonepieceof****12v I was still pulling while you were parting your truck out. thanks

You talk to any true puller whether it be truck, tractor, semi or whatever and they will say no to drugs. True you might half to tune to run nos properly but it is still a easy, short answer for finding horsepower. You will never see nos at Louisville or any other ITPA, NTPA pull. We all start somewhere so if we grow to be pro pullers one of these days, why run nos to get you to the mod class and then half to build diesel power? Schied dont need nos to have the fastest diesel out there, use them as inspiration to do the same with our trucks. More pride in doing it the hard way.

So if Nawzzz is legal on the track and illegal on the street........Why is my hoodstack legal on the street but illegal on the track???????

#1 your hoodstack IS illegal in all 50 states under the federal noise suppression and exhaust emission laws. (I dont care that yer Po-po hasn't nailed you, they can and will some day.)

#2 I (ME) got sick and tired of the Cummins guys WHINING about Tomacs headlight being removed. Wasn't proper street equipment per the rules they cried!!!!

Allright boys, I said, headlights in....YEA!!! .........and Hoodstacks OFF :banned:YEaa...what?!!?!
oh dern.
Fair is fair.
A few of them learned to keep their mouths shut about stupid stuff, from that incident but not many!:hehe:

One of my greater moments in officiating history. Boss if you want to know who the whiners were, I'll tell you privately.

I would love to talk to a insurance company and ask them why they dont allow it..

Guys do me and Diesel sled pulling a real big favor and don't talk to any insurance companies, please? Leave well enough alone. It costs a bundle to insure an event as it is.

spray it its not my money that your playing with. Ill be spraying mine when it gets done.

Well to startoff the headlight should be in! And hood stacks arent legal in any class except fot the mod class! Right??? I think those 2 things would get you pulled over by any cop! Even though you havent i bet you will one day! So therefore there not street legal!

And we are not whining! SOB! We just expect that if we follow the rules everyone else should! NO EXCEPTIONS! We are not whining about NOS on the track! Bring it on they will proably still get beat nos or no nos!

See this points out another "misconception" regarding the use of nitrous though. The QUANTITY of nitrous used DOES NOT determine the AMOUNT of hp gained!! There is no such thing as X size jet is a "50 shot" on diesels. More nitrous does not always equal more HP. .

No way.

Overheard a 1000 TIMES at any given dyno day in the country, while their are washing coolant oil off the walls of the dyno room:

" DUDE!!!! 800PONIES!!!!"

"Ya Man, ehehehe, ya ya and like, dude, ya know, dat was the 1fiddy shot, I still has the 2fiddy and da twee fiddy shot to go!!"

"That rocks!! Lets throw another head gasket on and try more!!"

True story, ask Jet pilot.

Kind of reminds me of LSD trips.

Guys drugs are bad for you and your truck!!!!

Come on Gene..you are giving away all our secrets!!:hehe::hehe::hehe:

drugs are bad when people dont know how to use them...lol I will agree there shouldnt be guys going out there that dont know how to use nitrous, it just pisses me off becasue I am a guy who does know how to use it and use it properly and effectively. I will take all my bashful statements back and end on the note that I do want nos in sled pulling but it wont happen. I for one would hate to get hit with something that comes out of someones engine becasue they are retarded and sprayed like crazy on stock ****.

Exactly...not worried bout the guys that know what their doing...its the numb-skulls that picked up some kit from their buddy or on ebay.
