i first tried llt14/hlt28, lld15hld32, llr30/hlr40
I had alot of popping until I lowered the duration way down. The bigger the sticks the shorter the time it takes to fuel a charge.. I,m playing with 9/10 HLD and 4-6 LLD huge sticks.
Anyone having problems with 1.4A turning off the shifter dash PRND21 lights when programming? My SSR did this twice and now I can,t get them back...
I wonder if the style of slug is causing timing issues. I have Marine (small bowl) slugs.
Ran several tunes, 28-30 seems to be the range for HLT. High egts when above 30 on hwy and lower mpg. I'm at 17mpg @ 70 mph at 29HLT. EGT 780-810 range
what did you load up first? popping might be way to little timing. white smoke?
I think if this 2000 rpm surge is figured out, things will be very drivable for the most part.
This may be something Marco needs to work on for us (the surging), it is a PIA to try and drive around with this G56.....
running 1.3 or 1.4 software?
Does anyone know what each number REALY stands for in the timing area? For instance is 4 numbers 1 degree of timing???
what is the HLT adjustment range? what would the equivelent setting for 21 Deg BTC be?
Bob/marco:
Why no info around how the torque management affects things and when it's not a factor?
What does one number in each setting stand for? like is one number in the HLT sand for 1 degree of timing and 2 is 2 degrees of timing and so on?
