I just took Bills '06 for a drive. For the record: standard cab, 2x4, STOCK longblock (160k?) w/ARP studs. Airdog, dual muffler 4" exhaust, S & B intake & a S/A 48re. UDC tuning (YES ON A LOAD DYNO) for drive ability & power, with maximum target values of 1400 egt's & 40 psi of boost.(Yes, stock charger too) Tuning to these parameters netted 484/1029, PRIOR to the intake & exhaust. (YES, thru the factory cat & muff.) This thing is FKN unbelievable to drive. I tried to make it smoke & it wouldn't. I searched the rpm range for a lull or flat spot, there isn't one. Rattle ? WHAT rattle ? The pull, or youth inspiring, shove you back into your seat torque sensation, is inevitable throughout the entire RPM range. I had to be relatively careful where I mashed it, as it WILL blow the back tires off ( 305/50/20 General UHP's). I was trying to find something about it I didn't like. I failed to. It ran 13.0's over & over at Woodburn.Fuel economy ? At this point we haven't a clue, as it is WAAAY too much fun to lean on.Maybe, at some point, someone here will have the due diligence to check fuel economy.
