at this point I would rather a new thread where only Bob or Marco could post useful updates. Just tired of the banter of the flaming finger for one, and other useless carp. Then when the item does release, a new post for testing and tuning suggestions and comments.
 
early yet, but IMPRESSIVE

I just took Bills '06 for a drive. For the record: standard cab, 2x4, STOCK longblock (160k?) w/ARP studs. Airdog, dual muffler 4" exhaust, S & B intake & a S/A 48re. UDC tuning (YES ON A LOAD DYNO) for drive ability & power, with maximum target values of 1400 egt's & 40 psi of boost.(Yes, stock charger too) Tuning to these parameters netted 484/1029, PRIOR to the intake & exhaust. (YES, thru the factory cat & muff.) This thing is FKN unbelievable to drive. I tried to make it smoke & it wouldn't. I searched the rpm range for a lull or flat spot, there isn't one. Rattle ? WHAT rattle ? The pull, or youth inspiring, shove you back into your seat torque sensation, is inevitable throughout the entire RPM range. I had to be relatively careful where I mashed it, as it WILL blow the back tires off ( 305/50/20 General UHP's). I was trying to find something about it I didn't like. I failed to. It ran 13.0's over & over at Woodburn.Fuel economy ? At this point we haven't a clue, as it is WAAAY too much fun to lean on.Maybe, at some point, someone here will have the due diligence to check fuel economy.

rip must be a beta tester, just where are the rest of them? good deal for you rip, what injectors are you running? not for nothin, there are plenty of tuners available for guys with nearly stock trucks, at this level of tuning, a tuner needs to be able to work with highly modified setups.

Sorry for my lack of excitment, but a guy with 21 post bragging about running 13s with a software thats seems to be the biggest joke of 2012 just doesnt get my blood pumping.
 
Rip is not your usual 13 post type guy, i value his opinion and experience. But like others it may be to late.
We'll see.
 
You know the most frustrating part,we are now more than halfway into this years shows/competitions and have yet to see anything we can use.

On 5/31 MADS posted they estimated 2-3 weeks to fix the WTS issue many of us are having with the latest updates.Its now 4 weeks past that and NOTHING at all.

I was really glad at Cecil County the truck did not go into limp mode when it reached WOT.Had to keep it turned down to try and prevent it and ended up with a bigger spray number.Still is frustrating to me that we are all out sitting on a ledge with no help.

I am seriously considering stripping the 05 down and returning it to stock form and buying a 06-07.The only other viable option I see other than that is a complete wiring harness swap and 06 ecm.

Worst part is there are no other viable options and they know it,so here we all sit and wait.

The best thing they could've done is get it out before the season started. Even now, who's going to switch platforms? Personally I'm just playing the waiting game for the other brand....

I definitely respect Rip's opinion, and the fact that he's excited is exciting, but the support just isn't there from MADS
 
Where are the rest of the beta testers? Why haven't we heard from them? Is there some sort of a gag order?
